Musica al pianoforte di Musilosophy : album completamente improvvisato al piano

Weekly live radio podcast hosted by acclaimed 22 year old NYC based singer/songwriter Alex Nackman. The show features some of Alex's favorite bands, fan Q and A, and live performances from Alex himself---the candid and up close Alex Nackman that fans have sought to hear.

Wolf Media is proud to present a series of weekly classical music webcasts, hosted by Alex Routledge. More about Alex Routledge: Alex Routledge is a classical pianist with a difference. Having formerly plyed his trade with numerous pop and rock bands, the musician has re-invented himself as a classical pianist. His live appearances are breathtaking, combining dexterous and intricate musical passages with jazz-infused chords, at times blurring the lines between romantic period classical music and modern day jazz. Every Sunday evening, from 7pm GMT, Alex presents a weekly podcast of classical music, airing pieces from his forthcoming album 'Man On A Mission', as well talking about classical music in general. Alexis Machine, a band that consists of Alexis himself and Alex Zandretta, recently released their second album, The Deeper Well of Decay. The album is comprised of hard-core rock elements and an eerie techno component that adds to the creepy feeling the music inspires within the listener. For the shock-rock fan, it completely hits the mark. Given the right opportunity, the album could very well become an industrial rock cult classic.

Allison Crowe is an independent singer-pianist whose voice hardly needs accompaniment. "I saw Allison at Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, Ohio on December 6th, 2005. It was the most honest, heartfelt, and directly intimate concert in my entire life," says Ross Hocker (WGTE/NPR).
"Allison
Crowe has a voice to fall in love with," observes Record of the Day (UK). "She is from Vancouver Island in Canada, descended from Irish and Manx stock. She's exactly the sort of artist who can make serious headway on her own label and that's just what she's doing." The love affair began with Allison Crowe's first public performance ~ belting out a big hit of the Jazz Age, Ja-da (Ja-da Jing Jing Jing!) at age six.
Nina Simone (a genre-buster of another generation) and Chet Baker albums were spinning at home. Carrying this music into her school band and music theatre studies, she found a coach to help harness her powerful vocal instrument and mentors to encourage her playing on piano, flute, bass and drums. Allison's parents' music collection was soon joined by her own discoveries ~ albums from Ani DiFranco, Pearl Jam, Tori Amos and Counting Crows ~ making for an eclecticism evident today in her music.
