The show's producer, Xavier Slattery, a descendant of the agency's founder, discovers evidence pointing to a renegade band within, helping keep the families' secret. Xavier is forced to reach out to old friend Henry Smith, a disgraced former TV reporter, to enlist his help for one last undercover assignment in the post-Katrina landscape of Wainwright County.
