Welcome everyone to a little project we call, The Man About town. Its currently a Vidcast about a number of diverse, and on their own, unrelated topics, with that gigantic meta-town, Southern California, as a common thread.
We are not sure yet where it will lead, if anywhere. Think of it as a bit of a roller coaster under construction, being built even as you are riding it. There will be drops, loops, corkscrews, switchbacks, smooth spots, rough spots, and some spots we havent even identified yet.
It may be good at times, and it may be not. It may even smell on occasion. But hopefully, it wont be boring.
So if your ready, buckle-up, and prepare for the ride. And make sure to keep your hands, arms, head, and legs inside the vehicle at all times!

When meandering down the road of life, we encounter special people that positively impact our lives. We have the opportunity to thank and appreciate many of them but often aren’t aware of the silent heroes that have contributed to our life as we know it.
The Road She Traveled is a project meant to honor and celebrate the women that have changed not only the physical substance of the road we travel, but also the landscape we enjoy. Without the cherished contributions these women have made, we would work, live, and play in a very different community than the one encountered today.
We invite you to travel virtually down the road these remarkable women have paved and witness this gift to our community, a place for current and future history enthusiasts to learn about the unique and giving women who have helped to build this great city of La Crosse, Wisconsin!
Robert H. Jackson (1892-1954) was a country lawyer who became Solicitor
General, Attorney General, a justice of the Supreme Court, and served as
chief prosecutor at the Nuremberg Trials of Nazi War Criminals following
World War II.
The Robert H. Jackson Center is dedicated to advancing the legacy of
Robert H. Jackson through education, exhibits, and by pursuing the relevance
of his ideas for our present generation. Special emphasis is made on
educating youth on issues of justice and fairness, and in applying Jackson's
views on international law as they relate to aggressive war, war crimes, and
acts of terror in today's world.
This lecture series is part of a remarkable and diverse collection of
lectures and interviews undertaken by the Robert H. Jackson Center to
capture recollections and reflections of those associated with Robert H.
Jackson and his legacy.
