Dr. Tremitiere was involved in over 2000 placements of special needs and older children throughout her career as an agency director.

Today's Teen Talk with Anni Keane introduces special guest Jarel Melendez, 21, who runs a special Circle of Youth support group for New York City's Children's Services for LGBTQ youth in the City's care. Jarel also works with youth aging out of the foster care system for Lawyers for Children. Jarel was adopted at age 18 by his grandmother and he is a strong advocate for older teen adoption.
