I'm finally settled in Austin but the move and the new job still keep my life pretty hectic. So here's another runset that I have for sale but decided to publish for free. There are 4 tunes by Homespun out of Wales. and plenty more by artists well known to longtime JTIP listeners. They include Pippa Rogers, Dialog, Vile Evils vs The Zombies, HOSTYLL, and Low of the Low.
Following these notes is a list of the tunes, the sequence, the BPMs, and other info.

It looks like we're definitely relocating from Utah to Texas. To save myself some time during the move, and to give you all a special treat, I've decided to publish one of the JogTunes Indie special runsets for free. So this episode is that runset. The original title is THE JTIP RUNSET #2 - FAR EAST PEACH and it's still available on the JogTunes Store Page free of long voice-overs for $5.00.
All of the tracks are from the Tokyo Far East Peach Label. The company's headed by my friend Momo-J, whose works I've been playing since the early days of the show. Momo-J, a consummate composer/arranger/musician, has written and produced extraordinary new age works that blend many essential flavors of Western and Eastern music. The episode contains tracks that are both old and new to the JTIP and written and performed by these Far East Peach artists:

I was excited to learn that Momo-J has a new gig writing the music for the popular Japanese Anime, K-On. You can find K-On episodes here.

When I first heard Louinel Jean's new song, "Power of Love", I immediately started planning this episode. It's a perfect theme for the end of a tumultuous decade as it sets the tone for what I'm sure we all hope will be a smoother 10 years aided by the power of love. All of the tunes are about love, and range in BPMs from walking paces to tempos for all out running.
Here's the music video version of Louinel's song, featuring Sushane Holmes:

As this is my third anniversary show, I reminisce by bringing back some old tunes as well as introduce some new ones. I found most of the tunes on Music Alley, and for that I'm grateful to Mevio and their fine service to music podcasting.

This mid-month dose of the JTIP falls at just the right time for some holiday music. So I was really excited to receive email from Ariel's Cyber PR about their Holiday Campaign List featuring 28 songs. I picked 8 that are great for JogTuning. It's a 30 minute session that's fairly easy going, with a max BPM of 174 and plenty of running in the 160s. Besides Ariel's List, I added another special treat as an outro. It's Troy Lee Warden's dance version of Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy.
