When Jesus sends his followers out into the world with the gospel he warns us that it could be dangerous. But don't worry. Everything turns out well in the end.

Here's a simple way of remembering what we are as Christians: followers of Jesus are called disciples, or "learners." And disciples are called apostles, or missionaries.

Biblical Christians realize that Christ has commissioned us to do something about a world of lost people. But we don't always remember that the first thing he told us to do is pray.

Your response to the world's suffering depends on what you force yourself to notice. Thankfully when Jesus looks at a lost world, feels compassion, and then does something.

When Jesus walked the earth the lame walked, the deaf heard, the blind saw and the mute sang for joy. Miracles were signs and clues to Jesus' true identity. And for us, they are previews of the future.
